NOTE: Springs are coated with an industrial black paint or Cosmoline®. The springs must be stripped and painted for a "Show Quality" look.   All 1967 Novas came with Mono-leaf springs from Tte factory painted a silver-blue primer.   Original springs taper in the middle while these springs have a constant width from front to back.   Rubber spring pad may need to be trimmed for proper spring fitment.

When your 1967-1969 Nova's leaf springs are worn out, the rear starts to sag. Originally Novas had a consistent ride height with the front end and rear end level. Eckler's offers quality replacement leaf springs to lift the sagging rear of your Nova. Many 1967-1969 Novas out on the road today could use new leaf springs. We here at Eckler's know not every Nova owner needs expensive, show correct leaf springs. They just want a high quality, durable leaf spring for their daily driver or weekend cruiser. Our replacement leaf springs are the highest quality replacements available.  They feature heavy forged steel construction and come with front eye bushing installed. When you're ready to restore your 1967-1969 Nova to its original ride height,  the professionals at Eckler's are here to help. 
 
WARNING: All bolts at the spring mounting points should be left finger tight until all the weight of the car is put on the springs (i.e. rear end supported by jack stands).  Then, proper torque should be applied to all points (torque specs are available in the factory assembly manual).  Failure to follow this procedure could result in one side of the car sitting lower than the other.  Also, installing springs in a car under restoration can result in the body sitting 4-6" off of the rear tires.  This should settle when items such as the interior and fuel tank are installed.  If you are still having installation issues after double checking your installation, please call technical services for additional support.
