Regular tapered seat lug nuts do work with American Racing Torq-Thrust and Legendary wheels, but due to the added thickness of the aluminum, as compared to original steel wheels, the contact area between the lug nut and threaded stud is reduced. For extra security, or if your ride is making some serious power, this type of lug nut gives you the best of both worlds. It has the 60 degree tapered seat to keep your wheel centered, and a 0.33" long/0.61" wide shank which increases the contact surfaces dramatically. Each one is cold-forged steel for strength, and chrome plated for beauty. These are sold each, so if you have five holes per wheel order twenty for a complete set.
NOTE: Some older 2-Piece Torq-Thrust wheels have slightly smaller lug nut holes. To use these lug nuts a 5/8" drill bit will need to be run through them. A drill-press is recommended.
